This Opti Team includes sailors from 8 to 15 years old who have completed at least one year of sailing instruction in Green fleet, have already experience of racing out of Florida or International regattas.
The sailors have developed and demonstrated interest and ability to reach higher levels of competitive accomplishment within the class. This Team will appeal to those athletes who have targeted to reach IODA regattas and want to maximize the outcome of their hard work.
Sopraventus is a Florida based Team. It regularly practices from Clearwater Community Sailing Center within 1 mile reach to Gulf of Mexico.
The sailors actively participate in USODA events, International clinics and regattas, open for practices with other Youth Racing teams and individuals looking for additional practice with highly motivated athletes.
Olivia is an accomplished opti sailor having competed in many international regattas, now sails waszp at worlds level also having completed the foiling boat coaching certification she helps coach our waszp fleet and greenies as well.
