A refund, less a $200 processing fee, will be granted to those entries canceled by 18:00 hrs on November 3, 2023. All other refunds after November 3rd 2023 will be at the sole discretion of the organization

Garda Goes to Orange Bowl International Optimist RWB Clinic & Regatta 

This Optimist Clinic is intended for highly motivated Optimist sailors who want to improve and perfect their racing skills !

We aim to grant access to the world’s best coaches to all families and sailors worldwide!

The clinic is designed to offer four days of intense training to help improve boat preparation with the most recent developments in the class, tuning advice, sail settings and advanced boat handling skills including Starting techniques & strategies, reading and using wind shifts, roll-tacking, roll-gybing, and mark roundings. The Optimist Clinic will look hard at developing both Upwind and Downwind speed, as well tactics, and race strategy, with extensive use of video analysis.

The December 20-23 2023 Sopraventus Goes To Orange Bowl Clinic will be led by the most world-winning and experienced coaches with a proven ability to prepare and inspire young sailors to race and win in any wind conditions.

Mauro Berteotti: Sailing Director at Fraglia Vela Riva- Born and raised in Riva del Garda, Italy. In the last 10 years + of coaching, his teams won over hundreds of awards, including  6 Italian optimist championships and a 3rd place at the Optimist World Championship with Alex de Murtas.

Notes and Recommendations
 
 
Parents please let the kids rig and de-rig alone, let them make new friends. No parents on the water and during briefings. Parents on premises only during drop off and pick up.
       
Sailors, you must bring appropriate gear, a notebook and running shoes.
