With our International High-Performance WASZP clinics, you will have the possibility to engage in a high-caliber racing foiling experience led by internationally acclaimed WASZP coaches.
This clinic is designed to provide the best and most advanced knowledge about Waszp HP rigging, enhance racing skills, and optimize performance on the water.

Sopraventus Waszp High-Performance Clinics aim to build a new generation of young foiling sailors that will aspire to compete in the main “high speed” sailing competitions such as SailGP and America’s Cup.
The clinics are made of four days and will be entirely focused on giving a chance to young and talented sailors to approach the present and future of the sailing world, having finally a safe and super-exciting foiling experience, improving their sailing/foiling skills while “flying” on the water.
The Miami Orange Bowl Camp main topics will be:
- Foiling theory basics
- Safety on a foiling boat
- How the Waszp Racing works and rules on the water
- High-Performance boat Rigging
- Boat speed Techniques
- Foiling maneuvers
- Briefing and de-briefing about the sailing days
- Videos and analysis from the coach
Waszp Mandatory Equipment
Sailors, you are expected to bring appropriate mandatory gear: long sleeve lycra, long john,
shoes/boots, gloves, USCGA life jacket and helmets. Respecting the rules is essential for safety of everyone safety on the water and for preventing damaging the boats.
Coaching
Marco Francalancia from LakeGarda, Italy,Is one of the most prominent International High-Performance Waszp coaches in the world . Marco also serves as the President of the Italian Waszp Class and directs the X-Lab project ,dedicated to nurturing young foiling athletes U19. His involvement in this event demonstrates our commitment to improving the foiling experience and fostering excellence in competitive sailing.

1100-1230: briefing, theory, and rigging
1230-1400: dry sailing (simulation onshore)
1400 -1630: on-the-water drills (Lunch OTW)
1630 -1730: de-rig, debrief, and refuel

1130-1600: on-the-water drills (Lunch OTW possible)
